The Mandriva Control Center (or MCC) is the central place where all Mandriva's configuration tools are located. It acts like the Control Panel of Windows and provides GUI tools to configure the system, as an alternative to typing commands or editing files.

To run the Control Center, go to the start menu and select System - Configuration - Configure Computer. Or press Alt-F2 to bring up the run dialog and enter the command

mcc

The configuration tools require root access so you'll need to enter the root password at the prompt.

This article needs a screenshot to illustrate it. As soon as file uploads are enabled, please add a screenshot here.
