Although there are very few threats to Linux from viruses, and some users choose not to run a virus scanner, there are various scanners available for Linux. Some argue that running a virus scan is part of being a good netizen, especially since most Linux scanners will also detect Windows viruses in files (such as .doc's). Either way, here is a list of known Anti-Virus scanners for Linux and users experiences with them.
